Lifts what vacuuming leaves
Ground-in dirt, walkway grey and old spills come out of the pile rather than sitting in it.
From £20
Carpets hold on to more than you can see. We lift the dirt that sits down in the pile, treat the marks that will shift, and tell you honestly about the ones that won't.
Vacuuming picks up what's on top of a carpet. What makes it look grey in the walkways and flat by the sofa is further down. We check the carpet first, pre-treat the heavy areas and any marks, then clean with hot water extraction, which rinses the dirt out of the pile rather than pushing it around. Before we start we'll tell you if a stain looks permanent, and before we leave we'll tell you how to help the carpet dry.
Carpets hide dirt well, until they don't. The walkway from the door to the sofa goes grey, the stairs look flat, and a spill from last year still shows when the light catches it. Vacuuming won't reach any of that, because it's down in the pile.
We clean with hot water extraction: the carpet is pre-treated, rinsed with hot water and the dirty water is pulled straight back out. It lifts the ground-in dirt that makes carpets look tired, and it's gentle enough for most household carpets. If you've also got a sofa, rug or mattress that needs doing, it's easy to add to the same visit.

Carpet cleaning starts at £20 a room. Stairs, landings and extra stain treatment are priced separately, and you'll see everything on your quote before we come.
It depends on the carpet, the weather and how well the room is ventilated. Opening windows and keeping the heating on helps. We'll give you drying advice before we leave.
Many everyday stains will. Bleach marks, dye loss, burns and very old stains often won't, and shop-bought stain removers can set a stain. We'll tell you what to expect before we start.
Please move small items. If heavy furniture needs moving, tell us when you book so we can plan for it.
